When you make a profit from SIP you will be able to talk to anyone anywhere that is in a SIP community for free.  You tell your friends and family to join and then you can talk to them for free for as long as you want to.  It makes sense to do so and you will find that the more people you tell about the services the more people will join it making you save more and more money in the long run.  Then you will be calling your fiends and family for free.  It is as simple as that to make a profit from using and telling people about SIP and for telling them you will be rewarded.  That is what is so nice about SIP, you profit for telling people about it.  The more people you get to join the more profit you will make.

What’s new about Fax over IP

Sending a Fax over the Internet can be compared to Voice Over Internet protocol (VoIP) except that the signal is optimized for the transmission of fax data. In general the behavioral pattern followed by IP fax transmitted across the Internet is for the fax data to be directed to a strategically located fax server close to its final destination. From this point the fax data is transferred onto standard telephone lines where it continues its journey as any normal fax. A financial saving to the sender occurs because the total cost for transmission is significantly less as a result of the major part of its journey being on the Internet.

A description of the VOIP codecs G.723, G.711 and G.729, needs initially to provide a description of the use performed by codecs. A standard telephone call that utilizes VoIP architecture needs to pass through two separate environments which are not readily interoperable. The first environment belongs to the standard telephony service which is analog and will need to be converted to digital bitstream in order to progress along the digital environment without disruption to the signal.

A program or a device capable of performing encoding and decoding on a digital data stream or signal is known as Codec. The stream or signal for transmission, storage or encryption are encoded and decoded by the Codecs. In the video camera, the ADC converts its analogue signals to digital signals, which after passing through the video compressor for transmission or storage are decoded by the DAC for analog display. An audio compressor converts analogue audio signals to digital signals for transmission or storage. The de-compressor at the receiving end converts the digital signals back to analog for playback. Essence is a term commonly associated with the raw encoded form of audio and video data.
